I don’t know whether you guys remember Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov, but they were my FAVORITES. They were married, and they had a baby, and they won the gold medal for Mother Russia. Then he dropped dead on the ice. 28 years old. So. Sad.

After a visit to the Brooklyn Bridge Flea Market Sunday afternoon, I stopped with a friend to get a slice at the pizza spot on Front Street. You walked in and you were definitely Ryan Gosling. Not some dude who looked like Ryan Gosling, but Ryan Gosling himself. And I although I had tomato sauce on my chin and garlic salt all over my shirt and strings of cheese hanging from my mouth, I am pretty sure it was love at first sight.
